Amen to that! Lionheads are gorgeousI have heard about some of the rabbit breeds, especially small ones, that will bite and hang on! I was told this about Hotots, Dwarfs, and Britannia Petites by people who have owned them. But the dwarf bunnies I had in FL were not biters, just timid. I agree it helps if you handle them early and often. I have not run across a biting Lionhead yet. Mine are so mellow, they just lay on their backs in my lap and let me cut their toe nails. Personally, the primary purpose of the bunnies I breed is for companionship so a biting rabbit is useless no matter how pretty it is. And I really value my fingers.
