Well even though my Hollands aren't show quality, we love them anyways.

I ended up getting an "orange" (still learning proper color names) male, a black female and a tort female. All have wonderful personalities.

Pictures will come as soon as I find my camera.
For me, it's just about having happy healthy pets so my little mixed up herd works great for me.

The doe is a chestnut, and I'd be giving that doe a nest box immediately if not sooner . . . .

The buck looks like a steel, possibly a steeled chin. His "lopped" ear looks like the kind of ear that I often see in large breed rabbits that are exposed to hot temps when young, or maybe got handled a bit roughly. There are lots of reasons why a rabbit might have an ear that isn't able to hold itself up besides having a lop-eared breed among their ancestors.

They have the same look in the face and body as flemish giants but I could be wrong. IF they are flemish your female could be what is called a "sandy" which is really just chestnut I think. Since they have been living together and are both breeding age it is a pretty safe bet she is pregnant. And if you get the sense that she is looking "fat" it means that she could be very close. Meaning? You may need to get a nest box and some hay ASAP.

I could just be building you up for nothing though, sometimes flemish giants take 8 months to sexually mature

BUT not all do.

The Flemish "take" on chestnut is called Sandy, and it is a rather lighter shade of chestnut - like what this doe has. The buck's color is also a Flemish color; he would be called a Steel Gray. My only problem with them being Flemish is their size. They are posed on the seat of a chair - the buck in particular looks to be a bit on the small side for a Flemish.

My satin doe died today and we have no clue how :/ completely unexpected! The horrible part is that she has 7 newborn babies that we are bottle feeding, going tomorrow to look for a foster mom!
