He sure is cute! Does he have DQs or does he have faults?

Oh maybe they're just "faults"?? He has too much control over his ears, one will stick up from time to time. He also has some tan looking "ticking" in his coat on his other side. Maybe from the sable point parent? I have to look into the showing part more. I've never shown one of current rabbits yet. So I'm not sure exactly what else to look for other than head shape, body type, ears, etc.

I can not wait until this weekend!! After loosing our doe to prolapse we arr going to pick up two NZ kits 8 weeks old! Will post pics as soon as we get them!

Don't be afraid to take your rabbits to shows to get a judge's opinion on them. A HL doe I bought at a show was DQed for missing her tail (mother bit it off), but the previous owners still brought her to to be shown so they could get the judge's comments.
I think it's important to get another, more experienced person's opinion so you can really see what you need to focus on.
Also, you'd be surprised how many HLs at shows have poor ear control and still place well.

I'm not quite positive, but I believe she is a flemish giant. Could be wrong but that's what she looks like to me.

Okay thanks :D

I'm not sure he's one breed, or at any rate, a good representative of any one breed. I'd say with those short ears and roundish head, he's a Dwarf, or a Dwarf cross.

Okay do you think he could be a mini rex cross? My friend has one and he looks similar to it but I've never seem them side by side so its hard to say.
Thank you - Hannah
