yeah, coolies, so you reckon males are best?I have rabbits for pets. First two were generic does baby bunnies. They were from the same litter. Within a few months one was mounting and biting the other, both were digging tunnels and both were growling, scratching and biting. I re-homed them and ended up with two bucks as babies (not same litter or parents. One a mini Rex/NZB mix and the other mini Rex). They never had negative behavior. I did have them both neutered. They are sweet and I have never seen any bad behavior with a human or with each other. They live in the same hutch.
thank you so muchWhat I did when we had tiny popples in a litter, was actually just hold the doe on her back/sitting up so her baby can feed. I don't know how big your rabbit is, but it worked well for our tiny rabbitsYou will definately need to restrain the doe somehow, so even just getting someone else to hold her for you may be easier. Here's a pic of how we hold our rabbits for claw trimming, if she's small enough you may be able to do kinda the same for your doe:
Hope your popple's ok, and that this maybe helps a bit

That is the going rate for a 1 yr old rabbit regardless of breed. Here they are all food. Reminder of where I live too. I saw a few torts too but most sell NZ white, pink eyes. None of the others had good markings for breeding really. It was 930am and many were panting in boxes or cages, no food or water in sight. Chickens are a ugly sight many are nude and mangy looking. I want to raise my own meat from babies so I know they are healthy. Once I can get my own place I want turkeys too. I see ducks and geese, peacocks, quails, dove and pigeon are big items here. All the fancy chickens are gone already. If I want nice it will take asking around each season. Give me a year and I hope to have a nice setup of chickens and rabbits for sale.
The first chinchilla I got I paid 7 bucks for, going rate for small not yet ready to breed he was around 2 months old. I bought my dutch last month for the same. I think they came from UK but unsure since many countries are sending animals to replace food supply lost during the war. The great big rabbits go for 25-35 bucks.
I need help!!! I have 2 new zealand white rabbits(1 buck 1 doe) and I got them this past year and bred them 32 days ago and the doe made her nest and should have them any time now..anyway my buck here drags his legs around and always lays down and looks dead cause he lays down a lot and always juts moves around with his front paws and I've seen him stand on his back feet before but it seems to gotten real worst this past month. I was thinking it may be a symptom of sore hocks but he has a resting board and I'm pretty sure it isn't that. And I'm hoping it is not genetic because it might pass on to the kits. I'm not to sure what's wrong with them........I have a Youtube account with him on it if yoou want to check the video out just let me know and I'll tell you my Youtube name.....thanks for any help!
