I'm a Roman Catholic. I have has stints with Wicca and will never throw away my Wiccan things but my DD & DS attend a Catholic School so it's more about setting the example.
I was brought up in the Roman Catholic Church so remember all of the responses and such.
What really attracts me to our local church is the choir.
DD & I love to sing on a sunday morning, so we are there singing out some polyphonic monets in latin to our hearts content!

HI everyone, Did not think I'd see this on BYC. I'm part of the Twelve tribes, we have community's all over the world, Gladheart farm here in Asheville NC, is a Twelve tribe community/ organic farm, please visit us at www.twelvetribes.com. Nice sharing with you all....

Lev Sameach....

Mother is Christian (Jehovah's Witness), father is a firm believer in science. I am a mixture of the two. I believe in God and I believe in a lot of what science has to say too. I don't think the two have to contradict all the time.

Edited because I tend to waffle on.

It's complicated, I guess? I was born and raised agnostic, but I do have super religious family members, mainly Baptists and Pentecostals. Because of my interest in history and geography, I've found myself studying religion as well, though, and I've come to like Islam. It's not what everyone thinks it is; it's really stimulating.

I don't know if I believe in a literal afterlife, though. I see religion more so as a path to guide oneself and help others rather than a path to one's own selfish desire to be in heaven.

Lol. Ok how about I'm very indecisive.;)
95% of the time humanist... The rest of the time agnostic. Just think atheist sounds cold or at least get perceived that way, so naturalist, humanist, sounds nicer. Not that anyone asked haha :)
