What rodent is this? *Pictures*

Looks voley to me too. If it's a vole it should eat just about anything you give it, but if it's a baby it'll want hot milk.

If it were a lemming wouldn't it have taken a nose dive off your hand in stereotypical lemming behaviour?

It won't eat anything I give it, so I'm trying milk. Does anyone know how to do this? Keep in mind that it is so small that its mouth could probably not fit around a dropper.

I stand corrected, according to Peterson Field Guide souther bog lemmings are found south of Canada. Voles and mice have longer tails--lemming's tail less than an inch, mice have tails longer than body length. All have" bare" tails. Difference between vole and mouse, vole will have light gray belly.

I'd say vole as well, the young will have stubby, furry tails.

Don't give it cow's milk. Most animal babies can't digest cow's milk. Goat's milk if you can't find cat milk replacer. That is, if you want the pest to live. It's cute now but it's a wild rodent and if it gets out it will make a lot of little wild rodents, and they will do bad things.

as for my vote... I second chicken food.
