I have 7 button quail eggs that I'm incubating and I'm not sure what setup they will need once they hatch, any suggestions?

Well I have a large gray tub and on the top It has chicken wire bolted to it which is what the chicks will go in (I have Pine shavings but I think I read they were bad for them so I probably wont use them), But I don't have anything for when they grow up but I was thinking up buying a large glass tank because that was recommended for me other than that I'm kinda lost... (if pictures are needed for the chick set up I can send them.)

Pictures are great.

Have you thought about adding a container of dirt and maybe some fake plants/greenery?

Oh, I didn't Think about dirt. But why fake plants, is it bad to have real ones? Sorry if I sound really inexperienced (well I am), it's my first time raising quail and I'm nervous I might do something wrong.

Screen tops I wanted to use because I felt nervous about putting a glass top on any cage I got for them.

Plants make for good places for them to hide. Real are fine as long as they aren't something the shouldn't eat because they will peck at it. Quail "especially Button Quail" are nervous skittish birds so they need places to hide and feel safe.

Alright, and I am also wondering about the whole nesting thing and how to set that up I have seen people put nesting boxes on the ground also some that just kinda make an indent in the ground. (oh and this is slightly of topic but can pair coexist with each other like 2 a female and male pairs in the same tank. I'm hatching so I don't know what I will get.)

Typically you only want one male in a group. They will lay all over, in the feed, in a box, in a nest, anywhere at random. They won't set their eggs so it really doesn't matter.

Okay! Thank you guys for the advice! I think I have a good idea in my head how to design their homes!
