Can you tell from this picture what sex this 6 week old chick is?

Well, initially I was thinking boy but the more I looked at the pic, the barring and color is girly. The comb is still pretty yellow and for the amount of feathering, not that big. I.e., if it were a much younger chick with a comb that size, I'd say boy but given the amount of feathering, I'd say girl.

Thanks everyone - you guys are quick! Alright, so there is no consensus? Is there no way of really knowing yet? Would more pictures help?

I really think this one may be a roo because s/he acts so aggressive. S/he bit my son in the face and always pecks me hard when I put my hand in to change their food or water. I'm a little scared of her/him!

That is a pullet. Most of my BR pullets get vaguely pinkish combs at the base of the comb about six to seven weeks. That is pullet coloring and a cockerel would have a much larger comb by now. There is such a thing as a dark cockerel, but it's not all that common. Here's my seven week old BR pullet. Dark color, dark wash on legs
