What should I ask for this fella?

Its better to give him to a good home and save money on feed. I would say $5-$10, especially at this time of year. If it was the spring you could get more for him, but then think of all the feed he would eat over the winter.

Thats true, but if I sold him I could buy feed. Granted, it would only last a week....lol.

I'm just curious but wouldn't people want cute little chicks in the spring? Not a fat 'ol roo?

The problem is, while people may want cute little chicks, most people with chickens have the same problem.......excess roos. I have bought sexed pullets and had 3 out of 5 turn out to be roos. While he is a pretty boy, unless someone is REALLY looking for someone just like him, they are going to, most likely, go for a free roo that someone else is probably giving away.

We had way more then we needed and sold them in sets of 3 for $35. Even when we ran out of what we wanted to sell we still had people calling us. Good Luck!

Oh My, good luck trying to sell him. You may get lucky.
I hope you do.

I have 13 roos right now I can't give away. Sadly, I am taking them to an auction on Tuesday.

I don't know what else to do with them. If they were standard size I would put them in the freezer but they are bantys.

Good luck!
