From my own expierience my geese don’t seem like big grown up adults until they’re a year and a half to two years old. Yes They look like adults after their first molt and they can breed their first year, but based on that and behavior that’s like equating a human teen as an adult. The majority of my geese don’t seem to settle into their lives and status within the flock until a year and a half to two years, though I have a few that were very mature early on so it probably has a lot to do with personality.
