What Special Treat or Yummy Did Your Flock Get Today?

Yesterday DD, DS and I picked some blackberries from the wild blackberry brambles that grow in our yard. All 10 of the chickens shared about 3/4 pint. We went into the run very excited to give them these yummy treats and gleefully tossed a few around to watch them go bonkers. Only problem was, they did't go bonkers, they just shot us all an en mass version of the stink eye. LOL. They ate them all eventually though.

This morning they received 3 leftover ears of corn on the cob and some tomato that was getting to squishy for us to eat. (We eat them on the firm side)

They came running when i went out there today!!! I gave them 3 ears of corn and 2 peices of watermelon from my neighbor!

Tube of crickets from the bait shop, worms, watermelon, squash and pasta. Oh yeah, a big grasshopper my son caught.

Mine got an apple, an overripe banana, slice of whole wheat bread, and yogurt. They all cluster up at the front of the run waiting for me to bring treats now.

They got the tomatoes that have been in the fridge too long. I think Fred, the mini horse ate most of them.
