What Special Treat or Yummy Did Your Flock Get Today?

Dried cherries, worms, and raisins. I've noticed they won't eat fresh fruits, only dried. Is this normal? It bugs me since so much goes to waste.

Mine are in heaven tonight. I was mowing grass and saw my catalpa trees had worms eating the leaves. I stopped the mower, got the red bowl and picked a bunch of the worms off the tree. My oh my they cleaned them up faster than you can blink and eye.

Frozen watermelon and bread. They now want their slice of bread every day and bok bok softly at me until I go back in the house and get it for them. I am showing marked improvement in my training. Maybe some day I will master being owned by 2 hens.

todays treats were strawberries, left over steamed rice, peas, carrots, and green beans. A handful of girls came to the front porch as i was eating my sandwich and helped themselves to the crust.

Cold, juicy watermelon...they absolutely love it! I saw in a previous post that someone gave their flock frozen watermelon...great idea!

Sliced Oranges...they all looked at them for a while. None willing to try until about an hour later. Now they all love them.
