Today I tried crickets. I bought em for the dragon but her needs match the chickens pretty close so I figure why not.

They sure love the chase. The first one tried to play dead after the initial peck, but that cricket ended up in two pieces.

I fed my girls clover tonight and at first they were afraid to approach it so I pulled out the purple nectar sections and put it in my hand and they went NUTS. Any of you farm folk that have ever eaten that part of the flower know that it tastes like sweet honey. They love it more than the mealworms I have given them.

Leftover spaghetti! And mouse guts that the cat left on the front lawn

I just happened to be tryng to coax them back to the back yard when I saw that

Mine got leftover unsauced spaghetti and leftover cantaloupe. They love both of these. Mine don't care for tomatoes at all.
