Actually, that is a really accurate and oft overlooked detail. Though the birth nerd in me wonders about the viability of all those babies what with apocalyptic circumstances.

Politicians.Okay… imagine it’s the apocalypse or some other devastating event, decades from now, and you’re scrounging for food… not much survived but what did? I’m thinking Twinkies and Spammaybe peanut butter??? But I feel like the fats would go rancid? Any other ideas? And we can expand beyond just food too. What would survive? And what would you do if this happened?

I used to be a birth doula. I seriously considered becoming a midwife. But then I realized that I need sleep and midwifery means a LOT of all nighters with very little sleep. When I split from my ex doulaing was no longer feasible.I still love it though.
