I have a septic field that was just put in out back of my house. We are having erosion issues so I am going to plant some white and red clover. They are both edible. I'll have eggs and chicken on hand, I pressure can chicken. We just used 2 jars from 2019 to make chicken salad.

In all seriousness, I would be very cautious about using any plant as a form of birth control. Yes, there is a long history with many of them, but there are also serious complications that can occur.

You make a good point.
For people like me it means no more sex. I almost died with my first child, I am alive because of emergency surgery. I am sure there are many more people like me, who would be risking death to give birth. So I suggested that people look it up and perhaps print out what they find. The complications and dangers are there also. Use a good medicinal herb site, not twitter or some BS.
