Odd how none of us said we'd just go fishing or hunting....

The fish and the game already got nuked and/or eaten by the zombies

I'd keep definitely keep them. I'd breed the chickens and raise the chicks for meat, but my pet chickens would be for eggs.
If I don't have my pets, then what's the point?

I was thinking of the situation of a bunch of people trapped in a city.
I live in the country so hunting/fishing would be a viable option for us.

With hunting, fishing, a garden, and meat chickens, I think I'd be good on food. Hopefully by the time the zombie apocalypse comes, I'll be fully self sustainable on my own in the middle of nowhere, with no other humans (or zombies) around.

That's what the guns and ammo are for, I'd go zombie hunting to keep them off my property

I currently just have a house gecko, so she just needs crickets and a heat source. And my faker dog, who could live off the chicken, fish, and wild game.
