It says that it is caused by an infection in the oviduct in hens and that the same kind of infection can happen in human females as and infection in the Fallopian tubes

Well, yeah, women can get Salpingitis...it's a bacterial infection.
Not quite the same tho...I don't think a human would pass the mass we call a 'lash egg' like a chicken would.
