The day before I left to the coast guard boot camp was the day I told her I was leaving. Apparently that wasnt good enough of a notice for her.She was a good friend back then when I was 19 and I gave her the benefit of the doubt,as such a good person like me does.But to carry a grudge so long,how does one do this? was it anger for giving her the slip?for not writing or calling her at all? who knows but she said she has been searching for me all her life even thru having two kids from her ex.( I thought that one of those kids were mine.I was sweating buckets)

I had alot to leave and she was a casualty in that.collateral damage so to speak.The military was a good out for a time,then got boring.

but a 23 year grudge? come on and move on already!

I highly reccommend a nice bunch of flowers for your wife... and a note attached that says "I'm So Sorry I was ever tweaked with you over this. You were SOOOO right!"
