What the heck to duck eggs taste like

We fried up turkey, duck and chicken eggs separately one morning just to sample them and see the differences. We didn't add any seasonings at all. We couldn't tell the difference between any of them taste or texture-wise.

Ducks lay really well. In some cases, they will out-lay your chickens. The problem I had with them is that they are some of the messiest fowl around. 5 ducks can eat more and poop more than 40 chickens combined. I learned this from experience.

Duck eggs are wonderful ! The biggest drawback is how messy ducks are and they often lack any concern as to where they lay their eggs. Even though we have two nestboxes, we find eggs all over the barn (an improvement over last year when we found them laying around the pond edge or even in the pond).

Great for baking, great for breakfast. Hubby says they are a bit too strong for his liking for his hard boiled egg sandwiches, but otherwise, I prefer them.

I have 3 ducks just for the eggs. I eat em and my kids love them.. Yummy ! I also bake with them. They seem to help my baked goods rise better. Before I was gladly paying 15 + for a dozen fresh duck eggs.

Oh also wanna add mine aren't stinky nor to messy. Other then with the splashing of their little pool. I do however feed Organic so that could be why they arent super poopy stinky. Mine are Muschovies.

Ducks might be messy but their charm and cuteness overrides it.

DUCK EGGS ARE GREAT FOR COOKING, LIGHT AND FLUFFY!!!!! YUM..... They are good to eat too, some people are mental and think that they stink, but they are just eggs, I mean, come on!!!! I love duck eggs and ducks!!!! I WANT MUSCOVIES!!!!! Oh and goose eggs are better than chicken eggs, they taste the same, with the texture of a duck egg, so perfect for eating plain or for cooking!!!

Most will lay one egg a day.
I like them better than chicken eggs.
They are bigger, richer and sweeter than chicken.
I always have them over easy and love them.
Some people say they are the same as chicken but to an egg person, they do taste different.
I have had goose eggs also. They are good but the white is so thick it's tough.
