What time do you unleash the dinos?

I'm... very inconsistent
I lock them up whenever I notice it's dark. I never close the coop though, just the enclosure. That way when I come back sometime the next day (could be early morning, but sometimes it's not until the afternoon oof), they have a bit of room to walk around in.

Mine go in before sundown and out after sun up. I don't have a set time... depends on the time of year. I used to let them out right before sun up but we lost one to a predator early in the morning last year so now I wait until the sun is firmly risen. They do make a racket if it's close to dawn and they see me in the window, but OH WELL.

Same. They have a fully enclosed run so I leave their house open. They still kick up a fuss to get out into the yard if they see us, even though there is PLENTY of room in their run. Spoiled girls.

They go in whenever I get around to it( backyard ducks with a livestock guardian in with them so I don’t have the predator issue) & they don’t get let out until 8:00am as I have a couple late morning layers. 1 or 2 of the 5 eggs are still wet and warm when I get them at 8:00am. I will not let them lay in the yard as said dog likes to eat the eggs if he gets a chance
