what time of day do you put eggs in incubator

What time of the day does everyone but their eggs in? Do I just start early in the morning on the first day or do I count the days from the time i put them in? Say i put them in at 5pm, would day two start at 5pm tomorrow?

Yeah, that's how it works. I put mine in at 6am, so the next day starts at 6am. Does that make sense?

Well i turned on the incubator about 30 mins ago, so i think i will just put them in at 6am when i get up.

Yeah, I think it's easier that way. If you'd put them in now, you wouldn't want to count today as day one, since it's not a full day. Usually if it's before two o'clock, you count that day. If it's after, count the next.

I am trying to be patient and put them on a good schedule for me to turn them, but the eggs are siting there and this is my first hatching.............it is going to be a long night till that alarm goes off
