What to do about Poo on the butt?

I have a silkie that has poo stuck to her butt, around the vent and feathers in that area. I have tried to trim the feathers, give her bath, but this is like a full time job.
She doesnt perch at night, instead prefers to lay in the hay.
So will she be ok, or do I keep giving her the spa treatment?
I have never had Silkies before.

Silkies don't usually fly up to perch, they cuddle up. Try to trim her butt a little closer, see if that helps.

thanks, I didnt know and I will trim her feathers some more.. I wish she would cuddle in a cleaner spot.

Get yourself some cheap hair clippers to trim the fuzz and such away from the rear. Make sure you trim a large enough area and don't be afraid to go down to the skin. Use like a #1 or #2 clipping guard to avoid cutting her.
