And - just FYI @Quatie - this gal is close and has been breeding pet and show quality Calls for a while. I had NO IDEA. I'd prefer Victoria's because Cheddar is amazing, but she isn't hatching any right now. But this gal is 10 min from me. Makes me wonder if there are more in our part of CA...

Victoria did an amazing job socializing these ducks. I have never seen ducks accept new people so easily.

I have seen other breeders in my area. That is definitely good to know there are more out there. But all of them sell adult breeding pairs. I haven't seen anyone sell ducklings or eggs out here. I really wanted younger ones to get them use to my dogs.

GOOD NEWS! The gal wasn't getting my messages! She wasn't ghosting me. A mutual friend got hold of her, and she emailed me today. I'll have pics of Cheddar's new companion on Friday after I pick her up!
