What to do for the only baby chick who survived the trip through the mails?

Good news! Her 8 flock-mates arrived this morning and everyone is settling in nicely! Sunlight is already working on the pecking order!

I'll write and put up photos later, maybe today.

She should have a head start, since she's a bit older/bigger and she already knows the lay of the land. She's a queen.

She's been trying off and on to get out of the box! Too much social life? More likely it's because I've been taking her out every day and she know it's interesting out there. anyway, we added a screen over the box top, easy to put aside.

I've taken everyone out one by one for loves once or twice so far.

My singleton chick is still alone, but hes doing very well! he plays with his mirror and sits atop the stuffed beanie baby monkey's head. I say he only because the chick has an attitude like a rooster and since it was hatched at home I have no idea. Still no luck finding a companion baby chick for him.
