What to do with all these chicken feathers?? (craft ideas??)

cat toys! you wrap them securely 1 by 1 in thread and when your done apply glue and a long thicker string for a handle

I made a steampunk style tophat out of leather and was looking for ornaments to put on it. Found a wooden bead with a big hole and arranged some of my EE feathers in it, perfect!

So... the last couple days, I've been out collecting chicken feathers. I just can't see letting a perfect feather get all cruddy and such like so many do. There are a lot of feathers lately in my coop. I don't know if it's the heat or if they're just molting or what... Anyway, I'm just wondering if any of you have crafts they do with feathers? I'm looking for new ideas

so far I just keep mine in pencil holders and stuff lol they are pretty to look at
