What to do with food

I have a flock of five pullets that I am feeding a layers diet. I am thinking about getting more chicks. when I put them in the coop with the others, should I change the diet to a regular starter feed or keep it at the layers diet?

Keep feedin them chick starter. You shouldn't start feeding layer until everybody is laying, even then its okay to give them chick. Change your Pullets back to chick, then just keep the whole expanded flock on starter until even the newbies are laying.
