What to expect?

I found a home for our rooster that has been with our girls for about a month. Is there anything I need to watch out for after removing him? I know pecking order will change and we’ll have some conflict but anything else?

You shouldn't see any real change in behavior. The roo wasn't with the flock long enough for any real bonding between him and any of the hens.

No, I agree ^^, depending on the age of your birds, you may notice a loss of tension in the flock. Cockerels can be hard on pullets.

I’m thinking it’s def for the best in the end! I think they’ll be happier for it and so will I!
