I don't even add milk to my omelets anymore.

We feed layers' crumbles, a handful of scratch here and there, and the girls free range. They do get table scraps, veggie scraps, and occasionally attack the dog's bowl.
Our local grocer sells organic steel cut oats, and those are mixed with yogurt as a bi-weekly treat.
We've actually got another person where my husband works who sells eggs, same price, brown eggs. We're making her lose business, people say our eggs are better. She doesn't treat her girls, and they are kept in a too small enclosure. I believe she feeds just pellets and cracked corn.
I think if you just keep your girls eating healthy things and avoid the naturally "stinky" or "strong" foods, they'll taste good no matter what.
and really, worrying about what they eat in the yard is a waste. My girls destroyed a nest of baby toads, ate them all up, and we've noticed no taste change in the eggs. I was worried, too.
