what to put in the quail cage

I just got a new quail and I am not sure what to put in the cage. The quail (Snowy) lives inside so................ what bedding should I use also. I know I need the basic supplies such as, feeders/waters, food, and a hide house. What else do I need?

We use pine shavings in the bottom of our quail box. We clean and replace once a week. We don't put sticks and branches in ours because they don't roost. We put a couple plastic tubs in upside-down aND cut a door out for them to hide. Also, put a tub out aND fill it with sand. They LOVE their sand baths.

sand bath with diacom powder to keep mites away.
conifer branches, boxes with hay, tubes for them to hide in.
hang millet spray for them to peck at.
also fresh greens for them to peck at.
