Yikes, you guys are harsh! I'll remember not to expect any help from anyone here should I fall on hard times! I don't think helping someone in a time of need sets a bad precedent.

I think that this is an issue that you and your DH HAVE to be in agreement on !!

However, unless DH disagrees, I think that you should show some compassion. You and DH could express that you are sorry to hear what is happening. You could offer to help them move. You could offer to feed everyone on the move day.

Losing your home isn't easy for anyone!!

I am not talking about giving them money directly, but some help with the moving could be a HUGE help!!
