What treat did your chickies get today?

I gave mine sunflower seeds, bananas and some bread. Plus 5 buckets of grass, which they ate all OF.

When do you find that chickens really start to enjoy treats? Ive fed mine various things since they were ~1 weeks old. They haven't really been excited over anything. *sigh* they peck at almost everything but they just play with it.

My 5 day olds go crazy over dried mealworms and scrambled eggs.

My chicks got some Ultra Kibble for Chicks and some Meal Worms that I got today.

I need to check on them and see how they're enjoying it.

ours got the leftovers from a spaghetti squash we cooked, they picked the skin from it totally clean

Is it bad I didn't give my a treat today because the only other thing than feed they got was 4 buckets of grass, but thats not really a treat is it?

Mine got some cracked corn, tomatoes, pear cores, and apple cores. We got some sun today and it melted most of the snow, so they got to spend some time in the sunshine as well!

Yesterday was leftover spaghetti, and today in addition to a few beagles I tried to carry to many eggs and ended up dropping a few at my feet. Needless to say they attacked...LOL

I was going to give my girls some strawberry tops, but I forgot that I had them in the fridge

so i'll give them them in the morning. I did give them some ends from my mom's homemade sour dough bread this morning. They picked at those for hours!
