What treat did your chickies get today?

Mixed leaf lettuce, Hoki and corn.

Yogurt, strawberries, seeds,
BOSS, and scratch. I have to keep my dogs from eating the yogurt before the chickens get a chance

The freeloaders got some scratch at bedtime.

Yesterday the weather was temperate enough for the 6 that would let me catch them to have an hour in the garden with me. Happy times for those 6- frantic times for the 3 left behind because they were too "chicken" to travel.

It's a warm 38 deg C today. They got an ice block with different layers with something different frozen in it.

1st layer was corn
2nd layer was walnuts
3rd layer was strawberries and apricots
4th layer was eggshells and dried meal worms.

Frustrates the hell out of them when they see all the goodies they can't get to. Cools them down though and amuses me watching them.
