What treat did your chickies get today?

We moved an old pile of wood and they spent the whole afternoon eating bugs that had accumulated there.

Since my girls are in the coop most of the day today, I gave them a regular size mason jar with alfalfa , grit, scratch and mealworns...they are happy girls

Tumeric rice and warm leftover pancakes.

Mashed hard boiled egg mixed with dry feed (they eat it now), tiny bit of lettuce & pepper (unknown type) scraps. A dash of grape juice to their water, just because.

Today the girls received: chopped raw zucchini ends, romaine lettuce, red bell pepper with seeds, banana, grapes, cilantro, and chopped roasted chicken trimmings. Happy happy hens!

Chopped grapes & parsley, unknown if they ate it, because they dumped the bowl over into their bedding. Will see in the morning.

Leftover baked spaghetti, with thyme and oregano added, some rolled oats and coconut milk.
