What treat did your chickies get today?

My son is a super picky eater who prefers his food not to touch- so they got left over ham and baby lima bean soup with noodles and barley.

I wish it would snow that much down here! We never got more than an inch, but it was REALLY cold. It didnt drop below 23 degrees, and yet it felt super cold. That may just be because our body's aren't really used to the cold yet. Lol!

My chickens got a red pepper core and thawed bananas that were in the freezer. They loved it!

I bought my babies a Nutrena scratch block today. But they don't get to enjoy it until Christmas

Oatmeal with a touch of homemade jam and probably some apple scraps and pomegranate later.

Today was the typical cold weather treat - warm oatmeal/chicken crumble mixture, along with corn and raisins. We put 12 bowls down and within 15 minutes picked up 12 empties!
