What treat did your chickies get today?

My ladies go crazy for raisins! I dropped one and chicken keep-away was on in full swing! Now I know they are looking for raisins every time I open their door.

Lettuce, tomatoes, bananas, cucumber and apples.

It was a hit! (especially the cornbread)

Welll.. Yesterday Afternoon, I gave them more Apples, and the roo got a hold of my face! THAT Was the straw that broke the camel's back!! Saturday we'll be having southwest Chicken stew!

Fat grasshoppers, corn hush puppies and an old sub roll. They also stole the tomatoes with the melted muenster cheese out of my bagel.

My girls,Laverne, Patti, and Maxine got sister Schubert rolls drizzled with milk, Alfredo noodles, and red grapes. Oh and a tomato. They were happy.

Cucumber salad from the other day (cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, ACV, yogurt, sour cream, dill) and oats mixed in.

I gave my chicks cherries and they loved them! I hope those are ok to give.

I pulled some swiss chard leaves from the garden and they chased me around waiting to eat it out of my hand. That is by far their favorite treat from the garden. I also keep a jar of mealworms that I shake to get them to come into their coop/run...it works every time!
