lololol. That's a great idea!
Hehehehehehehehehehehe, somehow this just seems so wrong! Some scrambled eggs.... Go nuts!
(but I love it). I'm just learning with my chickens and other than strawberry tops and bugs, haven't really given them much "people" food. Finding out i can give them most of what I have been sticking in the compost! Thanks! Anything specific I should know NOT to feed them? What about celery? I'm not sure about it being that it is so stringy.
My chickens really love cabbage but were very suspicious of the tether ball setup. Very disappointing! When I put the cabbage on the ground, they jumped on it.![]()
Leftover chicken??!!!??? That is as funny to me as feeding them eggs.No worries...those sharp beaks of theirs will make quick work of celery, strings and all. This morning, my chickens got leftover chicken (nobody they knew), a couple of bananas, some rolled oats, plain yogurt, tomato cores and tops, and some crushed up egg shells.![]()
I just can't bring myself to do that. Yet.
Just found out I could feed my chickens other-than-feed-foods...who knew?
So today, they got figs, okra, oats, lettuce and bread. They have eaten bugs and strawberry tops, but that is it. So will be interested to see if they ate the "treats" I left out there when I go check on them later. Yes, I'm learning... This is all very new to me!
