What treat did your chickies get today?

Mine love carrot peels but the first time I fed them the resulting orange poo caught me by surprise. This morning the flock got hot cream of wheat with some left over soggy granola and BOSS tossed in as well as an acorn squash and the shrimp tails from last night's shrimp cocktail. Breakfast of champions.

That's funny. I can't get mine to eat carrot peelings, even when I cooked them with some butter.

Mine get super picky in summer, but in the winter they're just like "It's something other than layer feed, I'll eat it!" LOL. One of my White Rocks even attempts to eat my boot laces.

Today mine got more carrot peeling and celery, plus some chopped up peanuts.

My chickens got 2 slightly slimy apples an a cheetah spotted banana. Muffin my roo attacked my dog for the banana! it was so funny! the best part? my springer spaniel is supposed to chase birds not be chased!! lol

Just mixed flax and rye seed in with a bag of dried meal worms. The love it!
