Gave the chicks some extra corn bread today they went absolutely nuts!

Air popped popcorn and unsalted sunflower seeds no shell...loved the seeds, not super excited about the popcorn.

Tree ripe cherries, the ones that fell one the ground as we were picking them. My birds had a field day with them.

My chickens had watermelon and thus were eating clover also! They are still pretty small almost in the teen stage but I think it's okay to feed them small amounts of fruits?

. We're out of town for the 1st time! We are selfishly going to a blues festival on Sunday. We spent today babysitting our 3 year old twin grandsons. We will head home Monday morning. The 1st thing I will do is fix their veggie salad & meal worm feast!
