Hi again. I have some Marmite that I can't eat (have Celiac). It's expensive and I wasn't sure what to do with what I have. Anyway, I cooked some immature winter squash and put the Marmite in it. The loved it. Found the cat sipping the juices too. Must remember to offer it to everyone and use it up. It is supposed to be full of vitamins.

Not sure but suspect it's the same thing. Called Marmite in the UK and Vegimite in Australia.

Why does this chicken like cat food? I see it is not a rare thing. I suspect it would affect their ability to produce good fertilizer. Anyone have input?

Cat food is fine as long as it's not their primary diet and their poop will still be fine fertilizers but the excess protein will make it stink more... Chickens like it because it's a high protein food...

Today mine got a well rounded Sunday Brunch, that will carry over into tomorrow...

4 loaves of bread
5 dozen whole grain English muffins
1 head of cauliflower
1 package of turkey dogs
3 coffee cakes
1 five gallon bucket of apples
400 give or take scrambled eggs

**If one is curious as to why so many eggs, it was simply time to rotate the backlog of stock, between getting ready for vacation, taking a vacation and settling back in after the vacation we had an excess of eggs backing up and running out of storage space...
