Last night after Meg went to the vet and when we came home and all of the girls' got their feet check daddy made them a nice bowl of warm oats. They LOVE it and when the sun goes behind the mountain and the wind is blowing, it gets COLD. Fill their tummies with warm oats and send them to bed with love, what more could they ask for

Thawed frozen peas that I took out for the ducks... I dropped a few for the chickens as well as scrambled eggs and tomatoes.

Mealworms, BOSS & cracked corn - temp is 30 deg, keep them warm and proteinated- if there is such a word

My girls and George got.Kale (they love it), a can of diced tomatoes (no salt). Shelled Sunflower seeds . Melon and cracked corn. Oh and also Cooked oatmeal for Breakfast.

Our girls got a LOT of tomatoes from the garden over the summer. My daughter the other day thought she would give them a treat and opened a can of diced tomatoes and they wouldn't touch it, turned their beaks up at it. Guess they figured they got fresh so much from us they are not going to settle for canned LOL I bet they wouldn't turn their little beak up at the fresh tomatoes I canned!

According to our neighbor we don't have chickens, we have pets

But then again he calls our Rottie his watch dog, when he is in his back yard, Stormee sits and just watches him through the fence.
