Black oil sunflower seeds! Mine love 'em! i got mine from drs fosters and smith which was a little pricey but they're really nice and clean. You can get them anywhere though

Gave my eight Black Australorps a small batch of finely chopped crested wheat grass.
they were getting this treat today for the first time. It took a little time before they tried it.

I weeded the garden and the girls reaped the rewards! I didn't even knock the worms off the plants. Once they had enough I fed the neighbors horses.

Today the flock got some clabber, egg shells, veggies, some odds and ends, and some baked eggs that didn't cook long enough. The flock was thrilled about the later. Us, not so much.

Just weeds and a couple shovelfuls of leaves today. I did find a tick on me after shoveling the leaves yesterday, so hopefully there are some yummy tidbits for them to find (and destroy).

Leftover beans, tomatoes, zuchinni, bananas and a couple heels of bread.

Chopped up kale and strawberries. Thought the strawberries would be the bigger hit, but they all snatched up pieces of kale and took off! Lol
