We tried bananas tonight. They weren't a hit though. Neither were the grapes the first time but they seemed to enjoy them on the second try.

Oh the brooders got their first live mealworms tonight...and I finally had chicks overcome thier timidity to eat out of my hand! Couldn't be related, right?

Today is the one year birthday of my girls. One year old. I can't believe that it's been a year since I got those little fluff butts. I'm going to cook them up some yummy muffins packed with good stuff. And they will get grapes for dessert.

They got their usual kitchen scrap salad bowl, with the added treat of leftover boiled easter eggs. I caught them eyeballing my raised garden bed, the older girls know that garden scrap session is coming!

We got an early spring snow overnight and it's a blustery morning. The girls got warm barley malt grain and leftover rice for breakfast.
