What treat did your chickies get today?

Today - a huge loaf of homemade bread that came out a bit too done for my taste, half a head of lettuce, veggie scraps from dinner last night and a few eggs scrambled (I save up the ones with cracks or imperfections and feed them back every few days). Plus their daily meal worms and scratch.

Mashed potatoes, yogurt, bread, mixed veggies , leftover soup with hunks of tomatoes.

Mine got a couple kitchen scraps. 2 half eaten apples, some white bread, and a can of sardines. They love fish!

I pulled down some mountain ash berries still on the tree....they are learning to forage in the snow and they love those berries! So proud of them!

then later they got some scratch and BOSS on the snow and I put them to bed...sleep tight!

A Valentine's Day Breakfast! Warm flapjacks, beet greens and stalks, golden apple, strawberries and squash.

Today's menu included fresh egg plant, beet stalks, califlower, strawberries, cucumber, warmed and chopped baked potatoes with a small dusting of American Cheese.

It's been a couple of days since I have posted. I was out of town, Joyce was in charge of the girls breakfast. Today's offering, fresh chopped garden salad, carrots, celery, strawberry greens, pancakes, scrambled eggs and squash.
