What treat did your chickies get today?

What's a fool-proof snack that chickens just love without fail? They haven't shown much interest in dried mealworms, live earthworms, or corn. I don't have hours to spend with them so I need treats they love to reinforce good behaviour, like going back in the **** coop when it gets dark.

We have a food bank near our house and sometimes they receive produce that is not fit for human consumption. No moldy, but perhaps over ripe, not cosmetically appealing, etc.

Things like bag salads, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, bananas.

The other day we brought home a carton of ugly broccoli that the chicks could not figure out when it was whole. I ran it through the food processor and scattered it out there for them.

Holy smokes, those girls DEVOURED that entire carton in about 15 minutes.

They seemed very happy and I was happy I was not around later to see what kind of gas chickens get from eating broccoli.

How old are they? bc chickens die for meal worms usually, but are more hesitant of it when young,

Other treats my chickens crave would be real cheddar cheese, real mmozzerella, raisins (not too much makes their droppings sticky) oats, grapes.

They are just 10 weeks.
I will try cheese, so far they just like their crumbles, I was shocked when they didn't care much about wriggling worms and sweet corn.
