Got their first pumpkin today, thought about for awhile then gobbled it down.

It is cold and rainy today so we cut up an apple, warmed it in the microwave, added some torn up pita pockets and soaked it all in soy milk. It smelled like apple pie and they loved it.

Apple peels and trimmings (I made a crisp for dessert last night) and a few dandelion plants (their favorite).

Besides free range time:

3 cherry tomatoes,
half a leftover pancake,
a spoonful of scrambled egg mixed with yogurt, and
some birdseed I sprouted in my kitchen.

and grass pulled from the garden. Oh yeah
oats. They loved it all!

Yogurt with strawberries and an over ripe cantaloupe from the garden. And a few lucky girls got a couple grasshoppers I caught in my yard.
