A tin of sardines and a big leaf of kale.

Roasted acorn squash rinds, spinach casserole, and a few scraps of chicken piccatta

Jambalaya, rice, stale bread, baked beans, and leftover succotash!

Let them out at 4:30 pm when I got home, they hung out in the the clover patch. Seemed pretty content.

Yes and don't ask me why. It seems to stay green throughout the winter, put the run coop and run in the middle of it. The birds absolutely love it. The wild rabbits do also.

Ours is dead along with everything else till next spring, frosts and cold got them all. Lucky chickens you have. and rabbits too.

Our clover is still very nice too. I'll pick
4 or 5 handfuls and let them have it. I
don't free range. But, my girls and roo
got strawberries and oatmeal, then some
collards.

Made a nice warm mash out of their crumbles. Fresh kale and red grapes on the side.
