What type of geese are these? And are they boys or girls?

I know they are Chinese or African, but I am not sure which. They are about 7 weeks old. Also, do you have any guesses as to male or female? We were told one of each when we were given them, but our neighbor who seems to know about these things thinks they are both boys.

They actually appear more like a Chinese cross to me. Someone could have crossed Brown with White Chinese geese.

Interesting! I don't know a lot about geese yet (but I am learning). If they are Chinese, wouldn't they have more of a knob developed by now? Any thoughts on male versus female?

One of my neighbours has a chinese male and a chinese x possibly emden female, and they produce babies just like these.

Very pretty crosses.

Where is servpolice when we need him? he would probably be able to tell you if gander/goose. They sure have turned into gorgeous geese.

They are adorable. I was a bit nervous because we got them as a gift so I wasn't really prepared to become a goose owner, but now that we've had them a while I've really fallen in love with them!

I'm glad you love them, I sent your thread to serv but so far I haven't seen him on in a couple days. Hopefully he'll be here today.

They are both crosses of brown chinese and white chinese both of them and it looks like two males :/ but the white one is tricky

Thanks! How can you tell that the grey one is a boy and what's tricky about the white one?

And if they are both boys, will we have any problems? They are living with 2 girl ducks and 1 boy duck, if that matters.
