Ok, finally found someone that carries Corid! They said they have is in crumbles or liquid form.
I don't think I could accurately does with crumbles....so i'm going with the liquid.

So, I have some questions..

#1 - Is there a specific type of Corid that can be used with chicks, or is any Corid ok?

#2 - Medicated feed....with Corid, or no?

#3 - What is the proper dosage for chicks with the liquid form of Corid?
***Edit: Ok, another place has powder form. When given a choice of liquid or powder,
which is better?

I was planning to get medicated feed today, but they aren't eating as much as they used to.
They use to all be waiting when I filled the food dish, and pushing each other out of the way.
Now, maybe one or two will come to see what i'm doing, that's it.

They *do*, however, fight each other over the water! So, hoping Corid in the water helps.

I've noticed more solid droppings, less runny mess, today.
Wonder if that's a sign they are recovering... They are still poofed and not eating well, though.
Hope Corid works!!

Also... My local Tractor Supply had me on hold for a long time twice, both people had no idea what Corid is!
Also, tried to find Corid on TSC's website, and couldn't. Do they not carry it??

#1. Corid (Amprolium) 9.6 solution (liquid)
#2. Yes
#3. Dosage for Corid 9.6 liquid solution is 9.5cc per gallon of water x 7 days. OR 4.75cc per 2 quarts of water x 7 days. OR 2.37cc per 1 quart of water x 7days.
Since they seem to be drinking well, this is how it should be administered. If they wernt drinking much, you could always add it to their feed, but drinking it has a quicker absorption rate.

~Runny marroon colored droppings, last night seen a small amount of blood
~Huddled, poofy feathers, obviously not feeling well
~Not eating much/often as usually do, lack of interest in food

Thank you! I will likely be going with the powder form, if it doesn't make any/much difference?
Both places that sell Corid are out of town, but the one with the powder is closer, and will be open later (so I can start them today).
Yes, they are drinking very well at this point (hope I am treating them in time!!)
And I will be buying medicated feed then, too..
Was worried that it would be overdosing them with meds.. But it must be safe?
Thanks again!!

*Update:

So far, so good!

First, without treatment I was noticing less runny poo.
Also noticed it seems to have been running it's course in the smaller chicks,
and is now starting in the older chicks (Tetra Tints & Golden Comets)...
The bigger ones had solid droppings, and now have the runny stuff.

Anyway, I started everyone on Corid powder and they are back on medicated feed.
Their appetite seems to be coming back, and fast!

I hope sooo much the progress continues!!

I usually buy feed at Tractor Supply..
Since they had no clue what Corid is.... I went to Southern States.
The Southern States feed is so fine ground, almost powdery.
The chicks love it!

Thanks to all who have helped me with this!

Glad they are making a quick comeback. Here's the dosage for corid 20% soluable powder: 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water. Mix it fresh daily for 5 consecutive days for all your chicks, keep them on medicated starter. ETA: I used to use Southern States feeds but because of the excess powder, it was causing my chickens to sneeze alot. Not only that, there were several bags I purchased that had bugs in them eating the feed, also turning it to powder. My thinking is that the bugs were eating the feed for the nutrients to grow and reproduce....therefore depriving my chickens from the feeds nutrients. I have since switched to Nutrena starter/grower (medicated) crumbles and Nutrena layer crumbles. There's no chance of bugs getting into the plastic sealed 50# sacks...unlike the Southern States feed sacks. I switched over 2 years ago and so far so good. This is just for your information. Good luck.
