What went wrong??? There is a chance to lose all my birds.

Keep it up your fighting well for your flock!

Everything I read about this particular disease says it runs its course in a week or two and the mortality rate is less than 10%. I also don't see why you would have to cull all your birds.

I saw pictures of birds that are blind, and they have problems in their neck and orientation. After i finish with the antibiotics, i will consult my vet about it. Only the turkey (that isi isolated) shows symptoms of the disease. It is pretty strange. I have chickens for two months and i have visited the vet more times than i visited doctors for me the last two years...

One more thing. I really appreciate your concern. I really find it very touching. THANKS TO YOU ALL OUT THERE, WHERE EVER YOU ARE.

I gave the antibiotics, and now i need to wait and see, what will happen. For the moment they look fine. Only one sneezes every now and then but the majority is healthy and active. Those that are supposed to lay eggs they do it which is a good sign. The turkey that i have isolated, still has her head swollen. I wonder if two weeks pass if the infection will go away...

It seems that the medication worked!!!

All the birds in the flock seem to be healthy and strong. Tomorrow the only patient will go to the vet to get special treatment.

. The effort was fruitful finally. The only bad things is that i threw away around 30 eggs these days.

I am more than glad that it finished like this. The other nice thing is that one of the young roosters is learning you to make the proper rooster crowing.....
