What would cause sudden, Consistent Wry Neck in flock

This chick isn’t suffering? I believe you, it’s just so sad to watch
If this little one jas wry neck, he's probably pretty unhappy, but not necessarily suffering in pain. Make sure he's getting fluids and some crumbles softened into a runny mash. You can administer both by laying some liquid alongside its' beak. The chick will swallow it reflexively. You can also put in a small cup, like a little margarine tub with low sides, lined with paper towel. Keep an eye on the temps, so it doesn't overheat. Those red lamps can get pretty hot and the baby won't be able to move away.
